About the Opportunity
The Technical Project Officer (TPO) is responsible for coordinating and tracking multiple concurrent BAU projects related to ICT operations and digital platforms, ensuring that timelines and milestones are met. This role involves providing essential technical support for tasks such as configurations and troubleshooting of IT systems and infrastructure.
As the TPO, you will facilitate project meetings to encourage collaboration among team members, stakeholders, business units, IT teams, and subject matter experts, gathering insights, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. You will also manage relationships with external vendors, coordinating their involvement in projects and addressing any concerns that arise.
A key responsibility will be to undertake technical tasks to assist with implementing solutions, identifying and escalating risks, issues, and potential delays to project timelines while proposing effective mitigation strategies.
As a subject matter expert, you will develop technical documentation and facilitate training for staff on new systems and processes.
This role not only improves service delivery and supports business growth but also underscores a commitment to compliance with ECH’s values and Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all facets of project management.
About You
You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills that allow you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including both technical and non-technical audiences.
Your exceptional time management abilities will enable you to navigate competing priorities and ensure timely project delivery. You will have proven experience in project coordination and management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Additionally, you will be knowledgeable about ICT operations, digital platforms, and relevant software tools used for project management, documentation, and communication. A certification in project management, such as PMBOK or PRINCE2, would be an advantage.
Some Perks for You
The Project Officer will work with a supportive and agile team that values the growth and development of its people. ECH work with its employees to foster growth and provide opportunities that align to your own professional career goals.
As part of a not-for-profit organisation, you can enjoy salary packaging benefits of up to $18,549 per year to reduce your taxable income.
